Alanís, Serrano & Doblado has provided legal advice to a variety of domestic and international clients, corporations, financial entities and government agencies since 1989.
This law firm specializes on corporate, international business, finance, taxation, tourism, construction, mining, telecommunications and air law, as well as on matters of international trade, administration, trademarks and copyrights, lobbying and the environment.
Although our attorneys specialize in different areas, their specialization does not narrow their scope of action. We have found that, at least initially, clients often prefer to seek advice from a single person who becomes familiar with them and with their matters. Therefore, the individual staff members maintain a marked personal involvement with all clients. The fact that a number of our collaborators has had international living experience entails our firm’s ability to muster a comprehensive understanding of international business and a tangible link to foreign and multicultural environments.
Our aim is to provide the best possible advice and service to our clients in an efficient, cost-effective and practical manner, while at the same time preserving the elements of a personalized traditional legal advisor-client relationship.
Our practices are located in Mexico City and Cancun, and include substantial involvement in proceedings before federal agencies and financial institutions. Our multiple branches complement our practice, and have enhanced our ability to structure international ventures, assist businesses in establishing a presence in the United States and Mexico, and to advise our clients on their businesses in Mexico.
As far as the service sector is concerned, we are advisors to consulting and computer-information systems, computer-related services, satellite, pay TV, film production and other media-related matters, as well as to service providers in the fields of waste management and gas and oil drilling.
Our clients range from private individuals to large international corporations. Our multiple offices and our exclusive cooperation links with foreign law firms have enabled us to serve a variety of overseas clients from varying industrial and commercial sectors.
Numerous client companies of our firm have found us to be their best option once they outgrow their original advisors, but are reluctant to consult a larger law firm. We also have a long history of representing Mexican subsidiaries of major businesses headquartered abroad. Furthermore, when contemplating to start a new venture or to sever ties with and old one, many people have chosen to work with Alanís, Serrano & Doblado on account of our personal attention and the comfort that it entails for the client. As the scope of our human resources has broadened, our firm has increasingly tended to represent larger clients over a wider scope of action.
