This area of our firm deals with the exploitation and enforcement of intellectual property both in Mexico and abroad. Our Intellectual- Property area handles all aspects of patents, designs, copyrights and trade secrets, for the purpose of which it cooperates with local lawyers in relevant jurisdictions, as well as with patent agents on filing matters.
Lawyers on this team tackle the complex and diverse issues associated with brands, marketing and advertising. They are able to provide a complete range of strategic, contractual and litigation advice.
Our Intellectual-Property department deals with trademarks, parallel importation, trade labeling, unfair competition and regulatory concerns over, for instance, labeling. Furthermore, our lawyers have formed liaisons with trademark agents on prosecution and registration matters. |
